Press release: ProData Consult exits 2015 with a solid result
The 2015 financial statement just released by ProData Consult shows significant advances and raises positive expectations for 2016.
On Wednesday March 9, ProData Consult presented its financial statement for 2015. The group posted revenue of DKK 463 million, and an increase in net profit of over 25%. Jens Kynæb, chairman of the ProData Consult Board of Directors, is very satisfied:
“We have expanded our client portfolio and achieved solid organic growth. At the same time, we have concluded a number of strategic framework agreements with both private and public companies which have not only contributed positively to our net profit for the year, but which also give us a solid foundation for the future.”
The group’s focus on the Northern European market and the consolidation of core services for both customers and consultants is a success. In the words of ProData Consult CEO Søren Rode:
“Once again, we have demonstrated that we are one of the largest companies in our market segment in Scandinavia. We have focused on creating value and quality services for our clients, and we have succeeded.”
All of the companies in the ProData Consult group have delivered solid results. The Polish subsidiary, which more than doubled its revenue, delivered a particularly strong performance. ProData Consult also established a new subsidiary in Germany in 2015.
“Even though we are still in an investment phase in Germany, we have achieved the goals we set at the beginning of 2015. Development is satisfactory, and will provide a strong platform for future growth,” emphasizes Søren Rode.
The Swedish and Dutch subsidiaries also showed a profit, while the Norwegian subsidiary reported a minor loss for 2015.
Acquisition sets the stage for a strong 2016
ProData Consult expects this positive development to continue in 2016, with continued solid growth both for the Danish parent company as well as for the group’s subsidiaries – particularly in light of the acquisition of Raft Consulting on January 1 2016. In 2015, Raft Consulting posted revenue of DKK 121 million and earnings before taxes of DKK 6.80 million. The company also contributes a large pool of experienced consultants with specialist knowledge, particularly from the financial sector. Claus Karup Rasmussen, former CEO of Raft Consulting and now COO of ProData Consult, states:
“In 2015, Raft Consulting delivered its best financial statement to date and 50% growth in net profit. As a united company, we are in a very strong position. We will become an even stronger supplier of specialists to the financial sector, as well as to the energy sector, transportation and logistics, in addition to the telecommunications and IT industry. Now our task is to focus on realizing the strategic possibilities offered by the acquisition, and to convince our clients and partners that the merger is to their advantage as well.”
With the acquisition of Raft Consulting, the group is gaining several strategic clients, highly skilled IT consultants, and a team of competent employees both in Denmark and Sweden. The ProData group is going into 2016 with optimism and expectations of continued growth.
